History

At some point I need to write a better or more complete story on lucy - it was the first system I bought from Ian Mapleson when I got back into SGI after I sold my Indy in 2012 or so. Ian really helped me out and we chatted for months on specification and config and all. It's not museum quality but very very nice with a working door and all. I've been able to upgrade the CPU board in it and add a PCI cage that now holds a HIPPI board, a Myrinet board and a self-flashed 3com Gigabit Ethernet board. It's one of my favorite SGIs and is the one I use most (check sginet).

Written in Markdown, edited with vi on IRIX, built 2026-10-29 with mksite. No database was harmed.  ·  files.42718.net
