Dave unfortunately misses his door, like almost all Octane's. I got this one from Japan - a very lucky find. It was listed as untested but the DVI connector on the back told me this was a V12 with DCD (dual display card). Over time some hardware got transplanted and the DCD and V12 and the CPU board moved to lucy. But dave is still a fantastic machine! It runs a cloned version of lucy's harddrive which breaks every and all licenses, but I use it to test out stuff. Especially drivers for HIPPI and Myrinet (gm) break the kernel, and that's what dave is for. He's happy doing it :-)
